Who are LinkU and what do they provide?
LinkU is an organisation committed to making a change within the environment through support and training.
Prior to Covid, we came up with a solution that would help businesses engage online through video meetings. It was aimed at allowing one business type and only one business in an area. This was on a subscription model. Since then the world has moved on and we all became zoomed out. With too many online meetings and networking, with everyone, well most people wanting to get back to face-to-face.
This meant that LinkU as it was initially conceived needed to adjust.
The whole ethos behind LinkU was to promote a greener way to network, this is still dear to our hearts as we believe that we all need to come together and help our planet.
We changed the model and now also support a not-for-profit organisation The Green Business Charter (GBC).
LinkU now provides Carbon Literacy training to businesses and for our members at a reduced rate, read more about Carbon Literacy here…
LinkU is also at the forefront of a new Biodiversity course specifically for businesses.

We want businesses to challenge the status quo, to stand up and make a difference. This will not be for everyone and there are those that do not believe there is an issue with the climate. As with all things we have to take a balanced view and look at what the facts state and how we interpret these.
We at LinkU welcome all businesses, we are open to discussions, and all viewpoints. We hope that with a balanced healthy discussion we can help put something back in to support the planet.
The future is not “determined”, but is in our hands. The power is in our hands. It is time for us to be the Earth’s brain, to think and act with a sole purpose to ensure that we preserve our planet as we know it.

As a member of LinkU, you will have the opportunity to meet with other businesses, many of whom will have similar views. Businesses that want to engage in a similar way and explore ideas and solutions.
LinkU is a platinum-status member of the GBC and as such relay our members’ thoughts directly to the GBC. Our members also get invites directly to exclusive GBC meetings which are open only to platinum-status organisation members.
Humanity has pushed Earth beyond the boundaries that have kept it stable for millions of years. There are planetary thresholds that we must not exceed, for the future of humanity. We can and must put in place now a solution if we are to protect Earth’s life support systems.
